Emissions Measurement Across All ModesRegulatory and Trade Compliance
PNG Worldwide measures CO₂ emissions across all primary modes of transportation we manage:
- Over-the-road transportation
- Air freight
- Ocean freight
Emissions data is captured at the shipment level through our Transportation Management System and analyzed using structured analytics. This enables consistent emissions measurement across lanes, customers, and geographies.
Technology-Enabled Environmental Reporting
Operational shipment data captured in our TMS is processed and visualized through Power BI reporting. This provides both PNG Worldwide and our customers with:
- Shipment-level CO₂ emissions data
- Mode-specific emissions comparisons
- Trend analysis over time
This approach supports operational optimization and customer sustainability initiatives.
Customer Visibility and Transparency
PNG Worldwide provides customers with emissions visibility to support internal sustainability reporting and decision-making. Our reporting framework is designed to support Scope 3 emissions reporting, where third-party transportation represents a significant portion of total environmental impact.
Invoice-Level Emissions Disclosure
As part of our commitment to transparency, PNG Worldwide includes CO₂ emissions references on shipment invoices, segmented by transportation mode. Where applicable, calculations reflect operational and environmental factors impacting air and ocean transport.
This integration aligns environmental data directly with commercial documentation.
